Wanted to let everyone know that this Saturday's Vista jam is ON. We're going to have some of the usual great players. Come on by to play or listen.

9am to 3pm. $15 donation to pay for room rental. Bar and grille on premises.

Had a great time- thanks George and Dave Farrell for BIAB and PA. Small attendance but it was great as we had time to show each other techniques and licks that otherwise might not have happened! That's the best part of jams, IMHO.

Nice. When steelers get together, fun is had (except maybe the players just before they go on).
When I worked for Scotty, for the players who weren't already in the hall about to go on, I would go to their rooms, grab their steel and take the elevator to the stairs, and down to the hall.
I never did carry Jimmy Day's steel, he always had his groupies with their blue coats to help him.
And there was the many plying their wares around the hall and steel seminars and demos in rooms outside the hall.
