USB Mics

What are good choices for USB mics to record with Audacity on a Mac?

Samson Go Mic

Post by Jim Fogle »

I've got a Samson Go Microphone I'm real happy with. It has a warm sound, pretty sensitive, headphone jack for latency free recording and well built and is priced at around $40 US. The base is spring loaded so it can be used as a table stand or clip to a microphone stand.

Samson's claim to fame is they use to be the North American distributor and repair depot for Zoom video / audio products. They've also designed and manufactured original equipment for other audio manufacturers. Their line of products are well built and well supported.
